Comes with 6 audio CDs which contain all the Kiswahili dialogs and vocab in the book along with conversation & grammar practices. Really clear and straight forward book with a focus on standard Tanzanian Kiswahili.
Colloquial Swahili - Donovan McGrath, Lutz Marten, Routledge, 2003. Comes with a series of audio CDs which really aid your understanding of Kiswahili. There is a new edition due December 2011.
Dictionaries
Swahili Practical Dictionary - Nicholas Awde, Hippocrene Books, NY, 2000. Easily the best portable dictionary for learners to use (Swahili-English and English-Swahili Sections).
Kamusi ya Kiswahili Sanifu, Oxford University Press, 2nd Ed 2004. For more advanced students, having access to a Kiswahili Dictionary of this form really helps improve understanding of language subtleties (Kiswahili-Kiswahili only).
